Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to fill the IAS/IFS Pre Online Form 2025:

1. Visit the Official Website
   Go to the official UPSC website: upsconline.nic.in.
2. Click on the Examination Link
   On the homepage, click on the link for “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC.”
3. Select the Exam
   Choose the “Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025” or “Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination 2025 through CS (P) Exam.”
4. Complete Part-I Registration
   • Provide your personal details like name, date of birth, gender, and email ID.
   • Enter your educational qualifications and category details.
   • Choose your preferred examination center.
   • After completing the details, click on “Submit.”
5. Complete Part-II Registration
   • Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph, signature, and photo ID (in the prescribed format and size).
   • Pay Application Fee: Pay the application fee using net banking, credit/debit card, or through offline challan.
     • General/OBC: ₹100
     • SC/ST/PwD/Female: Exempted
6. Select Exam Preferences
   If applying for the IFS, ensure to select the option for “Indian Forest Service” during the process.
7. Review Your Application
   Verify all the details before final submission. Any errors cannot be corrected after submission.
8. Submit the Form
   Once satisfied, submit the form. You will receive a confirmation message and a unique registration ID.
9. Download and Print
   Download the application confirmation page and take a printout for future reference. This will be required for the examination and further processes.
